WHY THE DARK LEFT EXISTS
The Dark Left grew out of the frustration of watching this administration lie to the public, enrich itself and manufacture enemies to keep uninformed people afraid, divided and easier to control.
We’re a collective voice for people who see what’s happening, know it isn’t normal and are tired of being told not to believe their own eyes.
For power to exist it needs people to feel isolated. The Dark Left is here to remind everyone that we're not pushing back alone.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe healthcare is a right, unions built the middle class and climate change doesn’t stop being real because some people find it inconvenient.
Church and state need separate rooms. Billionaires can afford their fair share. Immigrants strengthen America. Women control their bodies. Trans rights are human rights. Voting rights are civil rights. Due process belongs to everyone. Black lives matter. Veterans deserve support after the parade ends.
Because “with liberty and justice FOR ALL” isn’t decorative language.
It’s the promise.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
This isn’t a Democratic fan club. The left has issues that need to be addressed. We don’t defend bad arguments because they came from the left but we also don't pretend every issue has two equally honest sides.
We believe resistance and organized pushback are necessary when power is abused. That means speaking out, organizing, voting, peacefully protesting and refusing to normalize authoritarianism. We do NOT condone violence, threats or harm.
No both-sides bullshit. No political violence.
